Things That Annoy Me
08/02/10 at 11:02:54 pm | No Comments- If you can’t master the art of friendly snark (if you know what I mean) then you probably shouldn’t try to make comments that may come across as purely mean if not said correctly.
- I don’t like people who use ‘random’ as a way to describe themselves. (Because unless you spontaneously burn a building or go skydiving or shit like that, you’re probably just trying hard)
- I don’t like people who look down at others just because they like mainstream music. You know, there’s a reason why a lot of those songs are popular—it’s not all corporate kerblahblah.
- I don’t like people who give love advice like they’re some kind of love guru—especially the ones who’ve never been in a relationship before. Talk about presumptuousness.
- I don’t like it how I have to watch what I say with some people in fear of hurting their oh-so fragile feelings. Suck it up, wimp.
- I don’t like wet socks.
- And a lot of other things.

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
Being the lazy arse that I am, instead of doing something infinitely more productive like, say, doing homework or cleaning up my room, I decided to watch a movie that I’ve already watched called Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain (the English title being Amélie from Montmartre) but I like the original title better because it translates to: “The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain”.
Amélie is a 2001 romantic comedy film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Its original French title is Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain (“The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain”). Written by Jeunet with Guillaume Laurant, the film is a whimsical depiction of contemporary Parisian life, set in Montmartre. It tells the story of a shy waitress, played by Audrey Tautou, who decides to change the lives of those around her for the better, while struggling with her own isolation.

Let me just say how much I LOVE this film. I love the cinematography, I love the soundtrack, I love the actors and most of all, I love Amélie’s Paris. It’s not the crowded, tourist-filled (heh, I was one of them xD) Paris that I’ve been to. It’s the ‘ideal’ Paris, so to say. Absolutely charmant.
Anyway, this is the start of my blogging streak I suppose. Back doing to something more productive.
Cheers~

14/01/10 at 11:01:31 pm | No CommentsIt looks like I just can’t stay away from blogging. xP; I did go on Tumblr for, what, 3 months? Then I got bored, so I quit.
Maybe I miss actually making my own content, instead of reblogging random crap for hours on end. Or maybe I miss making lengthy entries that people probably won’t read for the sake of their sanity because who really wants to read the complaints of a teenager stuck in a city where…
Ahem.
Either way, let’s try this again. Maybe if I find a more substantial topic to focus on (rather than my whining), I’ll stick around longer.
Toodles!
